Reporting Frequency

The reporting frequency addresses the timing and regularity with which organizations report their waste activities. This section outlines how reporting schedules should be strategically planned:

• Accounting Periods Alignment. Reporting schemes should ideally align with the organization’s accounting periods. This synchronization ensures consistency in data tracking and facilitates integrated analysis of performance.
• Parallel Reporting Schedules. Recognizing that different stakeholders may require information in varying formats and details, multiple reporting schedules may run concurrently. Each report type can be tailored to meet the specific information needs of distinct audiences.
